Everyone receives the same first class service.  We are happy to work with homeowners, landlords, housing associations, letting and estate agents.

Our EPC prices are competitive.  Our service is built around you and your needs. If you need your EPC quickly we will respond promptly.  We can visit at a time to suit you, even in the evening or at the weekend.  Your keys are with an agent - no problem - we'll pick them up and return them again after the visit. We email a copy of the EPC to you within 24 hours of the visit and, additionally, send a printed copy to you in the post.  All included in our service and at no extra cost.

When do I need an EPC?

An EPC if needed when you sell or rent out a property.  You need to commission, but not necessarily receive, an EPC before putting your property on the market.  From 6 April 2012 the EPC must be available within 7 days of the property being marketed (prior to then you had 28 days to produce it).  EPCs for both sale and rent are valid for 10 years.  If you already have one, for example in a Home Information Pack from when you bought your property, then you can re-use it.  However, if you wish to take advantage of the government's Green Deal, you will need an EPC in a new format launched on 1st April 2012.

You also need an EPC to claim the Feed In Tariff at the higher rate.  Your property will need to achieve a Band D or above to obtain this higher rate.

What if I can't find my EPC?

Your Estate Agent/Letting Agent can track it down for you.  They can check the Register to see if one has been performed on your property and request a copy if one exists.  From 22nd April 2012 you will be able to do address lookup on the Landmark site to find the EPC yourself.  Find out more...
