Energy Efficiency Ratings

We provide domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for properties in Bristol and all the surrounding areas.

If you are a homeowner(selling), landlord (re letting), local authority, letting agent or estate agent (letting or selling domestic properties) we'll be happy to provide you with a first class service.

Our EPC prices are competitive and our service is built around you and your needs. If you need your EPC quickly we will respond promptly.  We can visit at a time to suit you - evenings and weekend visits are at no extra cost.  Your keys are with an agent - no problem - we'll pick them up and return them again after the visit. Your EPC will be posted to you.  Additionally, if you need it quickly, we can email a copy same day - again at no extra cost.

We're on the Google Local Business directory where you'll find testimonials from our clients.

Bristol Idea Limited

Bristol Idea is an independent, professional and friendly company who have been producing domestic Energy Performance Certificates since 2008.  Your Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) will be accredited with either Elmhurst Energy or Stroma.  This means peace of mind as the DEA is Criminal Bureau checked and insured.  Elmhurst Energy and Stroma monitor their accredited DEAs closely.  This is what Elmhurst Energy said at the last review :-

HIPs are History but EPCs are still required

From 21st May 2010 the requirement to have a HIP to sell your property has been suspended.  Sellers still need to commission, but not necessarily receive,  an EPC before putting their house on the market.  The EPC must be available within 28 days of the property being marketed.  The government supports the EPC and is considering the part that it  will play in the drive towards a low carbon, eco-friendly economy.
